Large calligraphy urge

This saturday I decided I needed to do some large calligraphic paintings...2'x4' and 3'x6'. I rolled out long sheets of paper through my house and across my driveway and started making calligraphic marks with sumi ink and a brush.

I then went to Blick and bought canvas and paint. I was on a mission. I'm almost done with one of the smaller pieces. Check it out:
